The forest preserve is located 3 miles southeast of the Rockford city limits

on South Perryville Road.

Canoes will be staged at Bauman Park. It is located at the end of South Walnut in Cherry Valley. The link below will bring you to Espenscheid. If you pan to the north and east a little on that map it will take you to the park.
