TRY A GYMNASTICS CLASS FREE
YMCA team gymnastics gives gymnasts the chance to learn the art and skills of competition as well as sportsmanship, respect and responsibility. The apparatus of floor exercise, uneven parallel bars, balance beam and vault are the tools used to help develop all participants to their full potential.
Participants are expected to pass an evaluation conducted by the head coach before joining the team.
The Pink Panthers Gymnastics Team is for girls ages 6 through 17. Practice is held at the YMCA North Towne Gymnastics Center located at 752 West Riverside Blvd. in Rockford. Gymnasts compete in the YMCA Competitive Gymnastics League, which holds events throughout the state of Illinois and Wisconsin. Additionally the team competes in the USAG Jr. Olympic program.
