Full Day Adventure Club

Whether you’re looking for a safe, nurturing environment for your child while you are at work, or you just want to add variety to your child’s summer, Adventure Club is the place for them! Adventure Club is an all-day summer program for youth ages 6-13 and entering grades 1-7. This program offers a variety of exciting activities that promotes the positive development of every child. As with everything the YMCA does, our core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect are integrated into every element of the program. These activities include cooperative games, arts and crafts, active play, character development, fitness, field trips and more. It will be our pleasure to help you give your child an exciting, fun-filled summer.

I.D. Pennock Branch

Fee: $25/day or $100/week (two-day minimum)
* Payment is due in full one week prior to program participation.
Hours: 6:45 AM - 5:30 PM
Please drop off by 8:00 am and pick up after 4:30 pm. Field trip days may require earlier arrival or later pickup. Please check with staff for specific dates.
What to Bring: Swimsuit, Towel, Lunch and Beverage. Closed toed shoes are a must.
Lunch is provided weeks 2-9 through the City of Rockford at the I.D. Pennock Branch only. Participants must bring a sack lunch on field trip days.

Northeast Branch

Field Trip Schedule

All participants who attend on Tuesdays must attend the field trip. Field trips are provided in part by a grant from the Rockford Park District

Adventure Club Half Day Options

Is your child attending summer school this year? Do you need a high-quality summer program during the afternoon? The YMCA has your answer!

During the weeks that summer school is in session, we will be offering the Adventure Club Half-Day Option. The half-day option will run Monday through Friday, from 12:00 pm until 5:30 pm and incorporate some elements of our traditional Adventure Club program. Activities for this program may include swimming, arts and crafts, active play, and homework help.

Location: I.D. Pennock Branch, 200 Y Blvd., Rockford
Days: Monday-Friday (during the weeks that summer school is in session)
Hours: 12:00-5:30 PM
Fees: $15 per day (two-day minimum)

Payment: Non refundable, non transferable deposit of $25 per child, per week is required to reserve your child’s place this summer. Payment is due in full one week prior to program participation.
Lunch: Lunch should be provided prior to attending the program. A snack will be provided in the afternoon.
